OOC NOTE: THE DRESSWhy did Ima let her friends talk her into this? Here she was, being dragged around one of the richest districts in all the nation, and all she could think about was work. They had found an embryo and now it was her job as a knight to find the others and protect them as well. Instead, her two best friends had forced fun upon her and made her dress up in a black thingytail dress. Aiko had, much to her chagrin, had tagged along as well but preoccupied herself with the pretty street lights. And now her friends were sneaking her into a bar. This night couldn't get any worse, or so she thought.

Hotaru leaned casually on the wall, his arm around the waist of a girl he had just met. The girl, screamed FAKE. Her dark colored hair had been dyed blond, the dark roots showing, and her face, though it was beautiful, showed signs obvious alteration, a plastic surgery usual. Hotaru smiled even though he wanted nothing more than to run away from this place, this club. He was here for some Easter business. Hotaru didn't really know the exact details of this mission, but he did know that he was suppose to be here. In a good looking outfit none the less. He was wearing a white suit, with a blue shirt and white tie. He looked good, like easter had ordered, and he had caught the eyes of many of the ladies here.
Hotaru was down right bored.
But that changed when he saw the very familiar face of Murakami Ima.
"'Taru. Stay focused. Don't let Ima-san distract you. You're here to complete a mission, not to win the heart of a girl younger than you." Genma ordered in a static-y, yet firm tone of voice. Genma himself was outside, scanning the streets for anything suspicous. The wolf chara had seen the knight enter and he decided to give warning. Hotaru nodded and adjusted the practically invisible ear peice.
"Gotcha loud and clear." Hotaru muttered, swinging the girl next to him in a graceful dance. The girl swooned, taking Hotaru's bait. But Hotaru kept his focus on Ima.
Things defiently got more interesting in a very short time.

Ima was too preoccupied with convincing her friends that giving her alcohol was a bad idea to even notice Hotaru was right across the room from her. Both of her friends, two lovely high class ladies, were drinking glasses of wine while she stayed with water. The bartender was aware that she was underage - that most of the people here were - but he was also aware that they were either the children of financial big shots. And indeed, they were. Ima's friends were the daughters of CEOs of major corporations while she was also the daughter of a corporate giant. The Murakami group was a big name and a lot of ties; one of them, unfortunately, being with Easter Corp. Ima's friends then began to squeal as they caught sight of Hotaru and forced Ima to turn around and face him so she could see as well. When Ima realized who she was looking at on the dance floor, she blanched and felt her stomach braid itself. As she turned back around she ordered a whiskey sour and frowned. She had a feeling she didn't want to be sober tonight. "He's not so good looking," she murmured to no one in particular. As she sipped her drink she wondered vaguely of what sort of escape plan she should concoct. Ima believed Hotaru was just here to score. How big, she didn't even realize. ----- Meanwhile, Aiko was still admiring the window displays and neon signs outside. Then she noticed Genma hovering near a rooftop and silently moved behind him. She heard him say something into some sort of relay device and blinked innocently. "What's up. doc?"

Hotaru, and the girl that had latched herself on him finished their dance ages ago but the girl had refused to let Hotaru go. She was saying something about them being 'soulmates' and 'kindred spirits' and Hotaru decided that she was down right crazy. And so the sin was now trying to escape, with no avail.
"B-But, we belong together! Why are you leaving?!" The girl screeched, making Hotaru momentarilly lose his hearing.
"Because I have a wife and two kids waiting for me at home. Now let go. Hotaru lied smoothly, and to his luck the girl let him go, crying about how he seduced her. Hotaru snorted.
"Hotaru, I think I see our man. He's entering the building now. Warty old man, with toad like eyes...OHMYGOD, IT'S THE RAPIST!" Genma informed and then screeched. Hotaru quickly figure out that the rapist must be Ima's chara, Aiko. But no matter, Hotaru thought. Genma can take care of her...maybe. And with that, Hotaru strode towards the frog like old man entering the club. The old toad took a look at Hotaru, and then took out a manilla folder out of his jacket, holding it out for Hotaru. Hotaru took the folder and continued walking out the club. But before he did, the blond sin turned and sent a smile and a wink at Ima, as if daring the Knight to follow him. ------------ Genma was having a silent panic attack, and he found that he couldn't move. Like a rabbit in front of a wolf. Immobile. Aiko personally frightened Genma, because not only was she able to trap Genma, she was able to successfully capture him. "Genma! It's time to go, I got what I needed from the old fart. Let's blow this pop stand." Genma sighed in relief when he heard Hotaru's voice. He quickly backed away from Aiko but not before he said something crucial... "You saw nothing." And with that, Genma floated back quickly to the street below, where Hotaru was waiting.

There is no such thing as a bad idea while you're drunk. Ima was learning that the hard way as she took Hotaru's challenge. She had seen him take the folder from the odd-looking man. She had seen him wink and smirk and, though she blushed, she had become filled with liquid courage. She followed him, telling her friends that she was going to the bathroom. Ima almost tripped over her high-heeled shoes as she followed Hotaru out a back door and into an alley. Blinking against the darkness, she noticed that he had disappeared. But his presence still lingered in that black. "Where did he...?"----- Aiko blinked, being the essence of innocence that she was, and was plain confused as Genma started to freak out on her. In a way he was cute when he was being neurotic, but right now the bright lights were clouding her mind. However, when he said she saw nothing, she smiled and giggled. "Right, I saw a lot of nothing...aka YOU."She said the insult flirtatiously but noticed he had already left. Curious, Aiko followed him, surprised to catch a glimpse of Hotaru nearing Ima.

Hotaru calculated Ima's every movement, every little drunk shuffle she made, he caught it. He frowned in the darkness; he dissapproved of her drinking, she was younger than him. But aa. Hotaru grinned. He'll have to show her what happened to those bad girls that decide to break the rules.
Silently, swiftly, Hotaru was behind Ima, his left arm wrapped around her waist, his right hand catching hers, the fingers intwining. Hotaru bent down and rested his chin on her shoulder, his mouth positioned near her ear.
"You're so naughty, Ima-chan. Drinking and then chasing after some silly boy. Tsk, tsk, I am so disappointed." Hotaru purred seductively into her ear. "Don't you know what happens to girls that break the rules? They get...punished." Hotaru nibbled lightly on Ima's ear and he smirked.
"But you want to get punished don't you?" And with that, Hotaru kissed the side of her neck, hoping to teach Ima a lesson.
Don't chase after boys when you're drunk.

When Hotaru wrapped his arm around her, she began to sober up real fast. He had pulled Ima against him, inviting her into his warmth, and laced their fingers together. She tried to pull away but her limbs wouldn't do what her brain asked of them. The alcohol had made her feel so heavy...but also, Hotaru made her feel...secure?
That was definitely the alcohol thinking for her own body.
Ima shuddered when his hot breath tingled her skin, and blushed an unhealthy shade of red when his teeth nipped the lobe of her ear. On instinct she turned her head and tried to pull away from him. She really wanted to put a great amount of distance between them in the shortest amount of time possible.
"Let go. Let...go of me...Hotaru."
Ima was already rendered breathless, her words muted by the long sighs and shudders of pleasure. Then she felt his lips move against her neck, tickling all sorts of sensations whose existences were foreign to her body. A small part of her wanted him to continue, for him to skim his fingers along her skin, to feel his lips on other parts of her...
WHAT THE **** AM I THINKING?!
She screamed the thought in her mind, and as she did, grew more determined to shove him off, and her struggle intensified. Until she realized his hold was far from breaking. Hotaru's grip tightened and she felt once again breathless, only in a different sense this time. Her heart was beating so fast, though her thoughts seemed to be rushing faster.
"Hotaru," she sighed, out of breath once more and stuck between her warped emotional state and her duty as a knight. Dizzy now, she leaned her head against his chest and grew submissive.

Hotaru was surprised by Ima. First she resists, and then she sort of gives up? Hotaru smiled a slow, honey-like thing over taking his features. He spun her around so he was looking down at her. He leaned down, his melting honey-gold eyes boring into her's.
"You are a confusing little thing, Ima. Tell me..." Hotaru unwound his hand from hers so he could tilt her chin upwards, her lips for the taking. He leaned down, less than an inch away. "...Do you want this?" Hotaru asked, quietly, his voice smoldering. "We are on the edge of a knife, Ima. You can decide what I am going to do, right now. So...Ima-chan. What's it going to be?" Hotaru leaned down further, his lips only a centimeter away from Ima's, his arm wound tigher around her waist, pressing her against him.
"Well? What is it going to be? Deception and pleasure or Loyalty and loneliness? Hotaru asked, slowly closing his eyes, long black eyelashes casting dark shadows across his cheeks.

"I choose..."
No. It should be a simple, easy answer. It was screaming in her mind, it was on the very edge of her tongue, but...she couldn't say it. She stared into those vivid yellow eyes and lost her purpose, her sense of duty, everything she ever fought for her. Ima was scraping in the darkness, feeling nothing but the warmth of Hotaru's body and a sort of emptiness deep inside.
And an odd tingle, crawling across her cold skin.
Ima's hands gripped the fabric of Hotaru's shirt. Her head turned slightly but his fingers brought her back to look at him. She didn't what to do or how to feel; everything was screwed up now, everything.
"I choose..."
Just as Ima was about to fall into temptation, Aiko began to panic. She cried out and started to jolt for Ima, planning to pull her away by her raven hair, when Genma grabbed her in order to stop her. Aiko pulled further and further towards Ima and Hotaru, and when she finally shoved Genma away, went too fast and smacked Ima in the back of the head.
As Aiko's little body hit Ima in the back of the head, it made Ima's head give a jerking upward reaction, causing her lips to embrace Hotaru's. Ima had no time to react as the kiss became something far more then a brief encounter. She found herself dazed by the intensity, desperate for his physical affection and warmth, and eager to please him.
Aiko gasped, her little blue eyes slowly starting to tear. Was this kiss going to change anything?
Was it going to change everything?

Hotaru shuddered. This was different, this was different he chanted over and over again his head as the kiss intensed. Yes, it was different, for Hotaru. He realized as Ima's lips grazed his own. It wasn't like all those other girls he was constantly involved with, it wasn't like those other boys he sometimes-every-once-in-a-blue-moon hooked up with. With all those other people, boys and girls, it was a poisoned honey taste, sweet but something sour and acrid mixed in with it.
This was different; There was no disgusting acrid taste in this kiss.
So Hotaru pressed Ima closer, and he removed his hand from her chin and the free hand wound it's way through Ima's ebony locks, securing Ima in that perfect position.
Hotaru broke it off soon, because he needed the air. His cheeks, were a dusty pink color and his gaze, was half-lidded. He didn't release Ima though.
"This is wrong. So wrong. But...oh well. I'll live vicariously." And with that, Hotaru kissed Ima again, with a strange i'm-addicted-you urgency. Genma shook his head, but he didn't interrupt Hotaru.

Ima could hardly breathe. And it wasn't because she was crushed against a man she should hate, or because that her lips were moving against his. It was because that she was so terribly confused; the whiskey sour wasn't helping her thoughts either.
But she wasn't pushing him away, even though she knew she had to. She let Hotaru deepen the kiss, she let him tangle his fingers in her silky black hair and press her close. She even let him kiss her again and again until she had his taste memorized.
She was completely lost, even as she broke away and brought her lips to her neck. Her fingers ran through his sun gold hair as she brought her lips back to his, engaging him once again in her betrayal.
"What about Himeko?!"
Everything about this moment soured for Ima. She heard the tears that now streaked Aiko's face in her pleading voice. She broke the kiss and turned her face away from him, her hands trailing down his neck to his chest and then pushing him away.
"I can't do this. I can't do this to my friends. I can't do this to my family. I can't do this to..."
Oh god, Daisuke. She closed her eyes and pushed Hotaru away, as hard as she could, but she was hardly strong enough.

Ima's push, even thought it wasn't strong enough caused Hotaru to stumble. He was in shock. He removed his arms and his hands froms Ima's body. No one had ever rejected Hotaru before, and he found the rejection...
painful.
He smirked, the color in his cheeks disappearing and his gaze instead of having the happy, lazy look was turning into something angry and alert. He took a few steps away from Ima
"This is irony in it's biggest sense. The player being rejected instead of rejecting. It's a rare thing, that's for sure." Hotaru said, clearly, the sultry tone in his voice gone. He ran a hand through sun gold hair, and reached into his jacket for something. Hotaru took out a rumpled manilla folder the one the toad like old man had given him. "You sure are a distracting little thing, that's clear. You've distracted me from my mission." Hotaru said, glaring slightly at Ima. His gaze softened though.
"My heart, unlock." Hotaru proclaimed as he and Genma transformed. "There is one thing I would like to know before I leave. Your last sentance wasn't complete. You can't do this to...whom?" Hotaru asked, now in the "Alpha male" transformation. His voice was cool, calm, but sprinkled with jealousy.
'Let her go Hotaru. She has a boyfriend. Let her go. Genma chided. He knew if Hotaru continued to be around Ima, he would continue to get hurt. Hotaru shook off Genma's warnings to look Ima straight in the eye.
"Well? Who is the last person you can't betray?" Hotaru asked, waving the folder tauntingly in front of Ima. He wouldnt let her have it of course, but still...

Aiko wasn't sure what had happened, nor what had been done or undone. At this point it was anyone's game; she could only put her faith in Ima to make the right choice. The lolita chara desperately tried to wipe her cheeks clean with her tiny hands. Her large, pretty blue eyes were tinited red from crying and she was still sobbing lightly.
She had been truly frightened and she hadn't enjoyed the feeling. Sure, their lives hadn't exactly been in danger. Sure, there might be worse fates for Ima then ending up in Hotaru's arms tonight - maybe even in his bed, if she had been willing. But Aiko was so afraid that Ima would have eventually lost her sense of self if she had accepted Hotaru as an intimate part of her life, and in effect, Aiko knew she would become lost.
Ima's happiness was important, yes, but Aiko was her selfish 'true self'. A woman who had someone to love didn't need to learn how to be confident for long. Aiko wanted to save Ima from a world of uncertainty and looming betrayal, yes, but she also needed to save herself.
The chara watched through her tear-blurred eyes as Ima rejected Hotaru and put some distance between them. Aiko had never met the guy that Ima supposedly liked very much, but she had heard his name, and wondered briefly if he was the one to thank.
"I can't do this to myself."
Ima was smart. She knew better then to offer up a name to Hotaru; the look in his eyes were reason enough to keep Daisuke's identity from him. If Daisuke - if anyone innocent - ever got hurt because of her, she wouldn't be able to live with herself. What was worse, Hotaru had somewhat stalked her, and so she knew that he might be able to figure out that there was someone else occupying her heart.
Taking in a breath, the peridot's eyes took in Hotaru's figure in the essence of the dim street lights. Everything about him was tempting...everything! Except for the part where he's a member of the company that probably murdered her sister. She hugged herself, the tingle of his body heat still a fresh memory imprinted on her skin. She couldn't look him in the eyes any more; their expression was starting to scare her.
"The alcohol must have gotten to me. But this will definitely never happen again."
Her lips parted slightly as she took in a breath when she looked at the envelope, noticing that he was daring her to try and take it. Ima knew she probably should attempt to filch it from him but she felt drained through and through. Instead of doing her duty as a knight, she decided to do something less important but still vital to her.
A tear slipped down her cheek as she raised her eyes to meet his gaze her again. Her voice was broken up with the promise of more tears.
"Why do you work for those murderers?"
Somewhere in the lackluster night, Aiko sighed. Ima stayed quiet, but her eyes spoke of 'what ifs' and 'could-have-beens' as they watched Hotaru, hoping in the mean time she would be able to salvage some good within him.
OOC: Ima believes that Easter killed Himeko. Hotaru and the other sins are unaware that Himeko is a sin because she's been working for Easter abroad.

Hotaru raised a sun-light eyebrow in response to Ima's question. Easter? Murderers? Those two words didn't mix in. Hotaru took a hesitent step towards Ima.
"Ima, you've got it wrong. Easter doesn't kill people. And I doubt they will ever start killing people. Easter doesn't house murderers, Ima." Hotaru whispered. Hotaru pursed his lips, reconsidering her question.
Why does he work for easter.
"My reason...for being with Easter is...personal. I need to get stronger, so I can protect the person I care about most. The person who I have constantely hurt, over and over and over again...My...baby" Hotaru muttered, his eyes moisting up, unwillingly. He scowled, thinking of his little sister. "It's...torture. Knowing she's so close, and not being able to get near her because I'm not strong enough to protect her." Hotaru mumbled, his smooth voice cracking. "It's heartbreaking torture, not being able to help her because I can't even help myself, Ima." Hotaru sucked in a breathe, calming himself. The moisture in his honey tinted eyes disappeared as quickly as it came, and when he spoke again, his voice was smooth again, free of any sign of momentary weakness
'Ima, the other sins have their reasons as well. Those reasons are either worse than mine, or better. Either way, those people will do anything to reach their goals. Maybe they will become those 'murderers' you accuse Easter of being. Anyways, it's dangerous." Hotaru said fiercely, walking back towards Ima. He caught her face in his hands and forced her to look at his face. "It'll be safer for you if you stayed away from the knights and the sins together. I don't know what'll do if you got hurt. Hotaru whispered. He gazed into her eyes. There was no ill intent anywhere in the honey-gold depths. The sin forced himself to release her. He walked away swiftly, heading toward the mouth of the alley.
"I really don't know what I would do if you got hurt...And...I don't think I want to know...Take care, Ima....Please. And then he was gone, leaving behind his pain-filled words.
