Ah, the park. A convenient place where a certain carrot top could spent most of his days alone and secluded from the rest of the world. At times being secluded was lonely, but he learned to cope with it; he had to if he wanted to live when he was younger. It was no different now.
The day was nice and crisp, the perfect time to be outdoors especially for him. Not too far away, his chara stood with a bored expression on his usually upbeat features. To put it simply, it did not suit the fox very well.
“Shouta, why are we here? There are no girls.” The chara whined with a pout. Of course that was the only thing he could think of on a day like this. Figures.
The carrot top smirked, giving his chara a teasing flick at the forehead. “Quiet down. You know I don’t like to be around others. Besides the fresh air will be good for you.”
The chara replied with an annoyed huff, but other than that, he remained silent. Shouta on the other hand, layed sprawled under the shades of a nearby tree, his eyes half lidded along with a relaxed expression other rarely saw on him. Today was going to be real relaxing.
(-shot- That was the worst post I’ve made for a long time. >.> Ah wells~)

Kiko was so d**n tired of being rejected. She had run into some school mates on the streets, and she had tired to be friendly. It didn't work and now she was storming through the park, trying to stop the tears rolling down her face. Mitsukai wasn't feeling the same way.
"THOSE ROTTEN NO GOOD SNOT NOSES! MEROW! MEROW, WE SHOULD TOTALLY GO BACK THERE AND KICK THEIR AS-" Mitsukai stopped abruptly as Kiko tripped and fell down. "Kokiss, are you okay?!" Mitsukai yelled, floating down to her fallen master. Kiko shook her head.
"I'm f-f-fine. Mit-yan, t-thank you for your concern." Kiko stuttered as she stood back up, wiping the dirt of her lolita dress. Mitsukai frowned.
"Meow, Kokiss, don't worry! Don't care about those kids! They don't know what they're missing! You're great! Those brats just don't realize it!" Mitsukai encouraged, trying to raise Kiko's confidence in herself.
"Yeah...okay..." Kiko said, sitting down on a nearby park bench. Mitsukai sat down next to her.
"You're the best friend in the world...mew..." Mitsukai whispered. Kiko nodded, not listening. Mitsukai frowned and she sniffed. Her eyes widened.
There's another chara around!Oh boy!
(ugh...it's been a long time since I've rped...this seems so sucky....-sighs-)

The carrot top had been laying there in silence for a few moments when he heard a sudden burst of displeasure from where the benches resided; and it was not from just any voice, but from one of a chara. How interesting. The boy rolled over onto his stomach to view the scene closely. It seemed as if the girl crying was upset about some matter about friends and the cat like chara was comforting her.
Beside him he could feel Ryuu stiffen up and he knew why. “Cat.” He hissed, his eyes narrowing. Though the fox chara was not actually a dog, the canine blood still coursed through him, bringing its hate of cats along without.
“Oi, you’re noisy.” Shouta stated. It wasn’t harsh or judgmental, but merely a fact that he wished to point out to the crying girl. With his head tilted to the side, he watched the girl with an apathetic expression.

Kiko stared at the boy. Shocker, she wasn't offended by his comment. Kiko sniffed and wiped her eyes.
"S-sorry." Kiko murmered, trying to shove out the memories of her harsh class mates. Mitsukai hissed, sniffing the air again, wrinkling her nose in the process. Kiko stared shocked at her chara. Mitsukai was always smiling, either happy or sad. She was never malicous, and she never sounded so cold; Kiko misinterpered it and thought she should introduce herself to the orange haired boy.
"I'm Hirogawa Kiko. Nice to meet you." Kiko said quietly, trying to smile. It felt more like a grimace, but it was the best she could do at the moment. Mitsukai hissed again. She had finally labeled the smell of the chara, and it had turned out to be a fox like chara. How wonderful. Mitsukai's eyebrows drew together in a fierce line. Cat and fox, how delightful. Mitsukai crossed her arms in front of her chest, frowning all the way.

The fox chara mirrored the cat’s actions by folding his own arms tightly across his chest except he childishly stuck out his tongue to show his further displeasure of the chara. “Would you mind not standing too close to me? You reek.” Ryuu said as he wrinkled his nose in disgust.
Shouta had paid little attention to his chara as he stood and dusted the small bits and pieces of grass that stubbornly clung to his pants. He could care little of Ryuu squabbles with other chara, so long as he knew not to injure any – if that were to ever happen, then the orange haired boy would decide to step in.
As he stood, his eyes raked over the girl. Was there any particular reason for the girl to be introducing herself to him when the two were two complete and total strangers to one another? Ah well, he was in a good mood today so he went along with whatever the girl was doing. “Ayayzawa Shouta.” He replied curtly; the apathetic expression he held stayed as firm as ever. “You cry a lot, don’t you?” He had taken note of the girl’s puffy red eyes and runny nose – the face she was making wasn’t helping much with her case either. Everything the girl did screamed of her displeasure and well known fact of her crying.

Mitsukai snorted. "You're no pile of roses neither, dog breath. If I smell so bad, why don't you leave?" The neko chibi retorted, sticking out her own tongue. Kiko decided to kindly over look Mitsukai's rudeness. Maybe because she was trying to keep her blush at bay.
"I don't cry often!" Kiko defended herself. She couldn't contain the blush any further, and the revealing blush tainted her pale cheeks bright red. Kiko turned her head away thinking. Maybe she did cry a lot...Her eyebrows furrowed together. How embarrasing. She does cry often. "Ayayzawa-kun, did you have to expand my bubble...?" Kiko murmured, the blush going brighter than ever.

“Pfft. I was here first. You get off you filthy hairball.” The fox chara replied stubbornly, his glare was as unwavering as Shouta’s expression. He simply hated cats and that fact would never change.
Shouta couldn’t help but smirk at the girl’s sudden outcry – this girl had certainly peeked his interest. “Because if I didn’t, you would still be sitting there crying.” He replied bluntly as his gaze drifted to an ice cream not too far away. Using his thumb, he jerked it towards the stand. “How about that? It might make your face look normal.” He let his smirk widened to show that he was merely teasing, nothing else.

Mitsukai snarled. "I'm not leaving until Kiko decides to go, so you're stuck with me you stupid wolf-knock-off!" She hissed. Mitsukai was a fool, and a silly one at that, but she was serious enough to notice important things. And her extremely passionable dislike of this chara was important
Kiko pouted. "My face is normal! Just not at this moment!" She smiled at his offer. "Rocky road. Yum." Kiko stood up, smoothing out her lolita dress. "...you're paying, right? I don't have any money..." Kiko rummaged in her pockets, only finding her cellphone and some lint and string. How lame. Kiko blushed again.

Ryuu wrinkled his nose in even more disgust, though it hard to tell if that was even humanly possible at the moment – it was just the prospect of hanging around a cat for the next few hours just might cause his brain to melt. The scent that cats gave off was just too vile to breathe in for too long. “Fine, but I’ll remind you that you are lucky that Shouta feels sorry for Kiko-chan or I wouldn’t be standing here talking to some mangy furball like you.” He hissed between clenched teeth.
“Ah so you cry a lot and mooch money off of others. I’m not finding it hard to believe you don’t have a boyfriend or anything remotely close to that for the matter.” He had managed to sneak in a quick tease before ordering three ice cream cones. Plain vanilla or himself, rocky road for the girl, and a one chocolate one for the two squabbling chara’s to share. Oh this should be good.
“Here, your ice creams.” The orange haired boy said as he distributed the ice cream to the appropriate people.
“WHAT? I have to share ice cream with that?” Ryuu said, incredulous. His eyes were narrowed and the frown on his face was the largest Shouta had seen by far. “I’m going to get cat spit all over myself. This is disgusting.”

"No thank you, I would rather not ingest dog slobber. It's repulsive. And that thing is right. Chocolate and dog slobber don't mix. Disgusting." Mitsukai said coolly, so out of character Kiko was in shock. The slender girl was much too rigid, much too stiff. Mitsukai bit her lip.
"Kokiss? What's up?" Mitsukai asked. Kiko closed her eyes and gripped the ice cream cone a little too tightly. It cracked.
'Stop. stop stop stop stop. don't say it. not you too.'
Kiko felt something metalic slip slyly into her mouth and she released her lip. Shouta was only teasing, yet his words brought out a reaction she didn't want to show.
"I'm...fine." She said robotically. She took a lick of her ice cream, not really tasting the chocolate and marshmellows. She smirked to herself. "You too, huh...?" Kiko said quietly, the words mixing in with the breeze

One minute, Shouta was teasing and eating ice cream with the girl and the next, she was stiff and robotic. Had his teasing gone too far? The carrot top gave her a worried look that only seemed to worsen when he spotted the small trickle of blood at the corner of her lips. He had gone too far.
Pulling a hand full of napkin out of the dispenser located next to the cash register, the carrot top knelt next to the girl so that her face was level to his own. “Kiko, your lip is bleeding.” He stated, though he was sure that she was full aware of that fact. Using his free hand, he managed to wipe away the blood before it could drip onto the ice cream or her clothing for that matter.
----- Ryuu stopped his pouting when he found that Kiko was bleeding. “Eh what happened? Did she fall without me seeing?” The fox chara asked worriedly as he left his ice cream in the cat’s hand and floated next to Kiko. “What’s wrong Kiko-chan?”

For a second, Kiko's posture relaxed as she stared at Shouta's face. Vaguely, at the back of her mind she registered his words.
"Myah...?" She said as she felt the napkin press on her lip. Mitsukai screamed.
"OMGWTFBBQ! KIKO! YOU'RE BLEEDING! OH MY GOD!" Mitsukai panicked, floating around rapidly, in circles, completely freaking out. That grabbed Kiko's attention.
"Bleeding...?" Kiko gently pried the napkin out of Shouta's hands and staring at the red drops very much like Mitsukai's eyes. "Blood...blood...OH MY GOD, I'M BLEEDING!!!" Kiko screamed, the fact finally registering on her mind. "I MUST HAVE BIT MY LIP, OH MY GOD!" Kiko's eyes widened as she tried to calm down and shut up. She took several deep breathes. "I'm okay...it stopped...I'm okay...I think..." She murmured. Mitsukai still floated rapidly around in circles.

Shouta let out an inaudible sigh. This girl was certainly impossible – so much for his peaceful and relaxing day. “Oh now you notice.” The sarcasm that dripped from his tone of voice was impossible to miss, even with Kiko in her trance like state. “Yes you were bleeding all over your ice cream, which will soon be all over your clothes if you squeeze it any harder.” He said, using his free hand to signal the poor looking cone that contained random cracks all along its sides.
--- Ryuu on the other hand was not as patient as Shouta had been. “Will.You.” He said, emphasizing each word carefully. “Calm down!” He snarled as he lunged at the cat chara, successfully pinning her down in the process.

"Oh. Yeah. Yum." Kiko said, licking the abused ice cream. "Shouta-kun, please keep your sarcasm to yourself. It's not enjoyable to the people around you." Kiko said seriously, throwing away the blood stained napkin away. "Apatheticism...if that's a word...suits you better." The honey eyed girl teased, as she swallowed a large chunk of ice-cream. The effect was instantenous. Kiko pressed her free hand to the side of her head, trying to stop the pain. "Mm...brain freeze!" She exclaimed quietly.
"SORRY FOR CARING ABOUT MY MASTER, YOU STUPID DOG!" Mitsukai shrieked as she was tackled. She tried to kick him off, with no avail. She hissed. "STUPID SLOBBERING MUTT!" She yelled again.

This time instead of sarcasm, the carrot top merely rolled his eyes. This girl was impossible. He wondered how she went from day to day without accidentally killing herself in the process for in the five minutes he had known her she had cried, bit her lip enough for it to protrude blood, and now this. What had he gotten himself into?
“When you usually eat ice cream, it’s in small bits.” He demonstrated as he licked some of his vanilla ice cream off the sides of his cone. “Got it?”
Ryuu let out a snort of laughter. He was stronger then the small cat chara would ever be and still she was trying to resist him. “You’re going no where furball. Not until you calm down.” He retorted in an amazingly calm manner that even got Shouta on the side to raise on eyebrow.
